Around now, watch for Taurid fireballs View larger. | Skywatchers are still remembering the Taurid fireballs they saw in 2015 … like this one, caught by veteran meteor observer Eliot Herman in Tucson, Arizona. This one is bright enough to see in the moonlight. If you know your constellations, you can see it's coming straight from Taurus. Here's a 2019 Taurid meteor, also caught by Eliot.
