Before sunrise … Catch Mercury Happy Friday, everybody!  Looking for weekend fun? Remember ... the evening sky has 4 bright planets now. They're very beautiful. Meanwhile - for the coming 2 weeks - the morning sky has Mercury.  See it! Moon sweeps past Mars  Mars is still at its best, and the moon has just swept past. Plus Saturn is nearby. Before sunrise … Catch Mercury Castor and Pollux will be noticeable for being bright and close together. With Mercury, Pollux and Procyon make a large, equal-sided triangle that rises before dawn this week. There are other bright stars up before dawn now, too. Click here for more charts.
