Venus and Mercury will remain close enough together on the sky’s dome to fit inside a typical binocular field of 5 degrees for the first 3 weeks of March 2018.

See it! 1st March full moon

The full moon photos are still coming in. Dennis Schoenfelder in Rio Grande County, Colorado captured one Friday morning and wrote: “I was taking a moonset picture when I was photo-bombed by a Sandhill Crane who, undoubtedly arrived early for next week’s crane festival."
