Good morning! Brightest comet in the night sky | | Comet 46P/Wirtanen isn't bright in an absolute sense. You'd need a telescope to see it now. But it's getting brighter and might reach visibility to the eye alone before the end of 2018. According to astronomers, Wirtanen will be the 10th closest comet in modern times. Read more. | | |
