Tonight .. Moon near Aldebaran and the Pleiades

Despite the lunar glare, you still might see Aldebaran, the constellation Taurus’ brightest star, and the Pleiades star cluster near the moon.

Airglow over Alberta, Canada 

Airglow is the light of excited atoms high in Earth’s atmosphere. Earlier this month, Yuri Beletsky Nightscapes captured this image in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada.
