This weekend is a wonderful time to start looking for Venus after sunset. Seeing Venus is a challenge now, but the moon will point the way.

Next few evenings … Young moon and Venus

Venus will be tough to see with the eye alone. The moon will be tough Friday evening, but - Saturday or Sunday evening - the lighted portion of the moon will point toward Venus and can guide your eye.

See it! Partial solar eclipse
