Moon-gazing tonight? Think of Pluto
Tonight and tomorrow, the waxing crescent moon shines in the same part of the sky as tiny, fascinating Pluto.
Pluto: Preparing for the perfect alignment
Pluto will cross the plane of the ecliptic - the Earth-sun plane - in 2018. This hasn't happened since 1931, near the time of the Pluto's discovery. Astronomers are getting ready!
Artificial intelligence finds 56 new gravitational lens candidates
These astronomers are using the same technology Tesla is using to teach cars to drive themselves.

Moon-gazing tonight? Think of Pluto
Tonight's moon and Pluto both are in front of the constellation Sagittarius the Archer. Just don’t expect to see Pluto, which is about 1,600 times fainter than the dimmest star visible to the eye on a dark, moonless night.
